However, the pace of financial journalism is rapid. Journalists must be able to keep up with the changes. How?

They must also understand complex concepts such as hedge funds and derivatives.

Often, they also have to balance commercial interests with the interests of the public. The role of financial public relations is also pervasive and becoming more so. What is the role of PR in the Arab world and how do you balance competing interests?

Financial journalists are also faced with ethical challenges. They have the ability to influence markets and/or to gain personally. How are these challenges resolved?

This course will explain, among other things, how to manage competing interests.
